of the

CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF VIENNA

Park and Recreation 5-Year Plan

At a Regular meeting of the Township Board of the Charter Township of Vienna, Genesee County, Michigan, held on the 20th day of February 2008, at 4:30 P. M. Local Time.

Present: McKerchie, Scott, Luttenbacher, Zinn

Absent: Fuller, Ridley, Taylor__________________________________

After discussion, the following resolution was offered by: Zinn and seconded by Scott :

WHEREAS, the Clio Area Park and Recreation Board has prepared a 5-year Park and Recreation Plan for the years 2008 – 2012; and

WHEREAS, the Clio Area Area Park and Recreation Board has recommended that the Charter Township of Vienna Board adopt the 5-year plan; and

WHEREAS, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources request that such a community plan be in place; and

WHEREAS, it is important to have such a community recreation plan in place that provides recreational activities to our residents; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Vienna Township Board adopts this Clio Area Park and Recreation plan for 2008 – 2012.
