GARAGE SALE/RUMMAGE SALE PERMIT

 

 

GARAGE SALE/RUMMAGE SALE REGULATIONS:

         

          1.          Permits shall be issued for a period not exceeding 4 days.

          2.          No more than 2 permits for a parcel of property may be issued during any calendar

                       year.

          3.          No garage sale shall be operated before 9 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. on any day.

          4.          No signs on telephone poles, street signs or in road right of way

          5.          Any temporary free-standing signs advertising the garage sale shall be removed within

                       twenty-four (24) hours after the completion of the garage sale.

 

 

Any person who violates these regulations shall be guilty of misdemeanor 4.01, Article IV, of Garage Sale Ordinance (No. 326).

Your garage sale permit request must be received 10 days prior to the date of your sale.  If that is not possible, you will need to pick your permit up at the Township office, Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
