Roll Call: Present: Supervisor McKerchie, Clerk Scott, Treasurer Luttenbacher, 
Trustees:  Corba, Preseau, Ridley, Zinn
Absent: None
Previous Minutes: Moved by Corba, seconded by Preseau to accept the minutes of the January 7,
2002, meeting as presented.
All in favor
Treasurer's Report: Was presented by Luttenbacher. 
Building Report: Was presented by Palmer.
Bills: Bills in the amount of $423,003.52 were presented.  Moved by Corba, 
seconded by Ridley to pay the bills in the amount of $338,303.52,
excluding $83,975.00 to Will Hall and $725.00 to Clio Lumber.

Nays - None Motion carried.
Library Report: Was presented by Zinn.  
Amphitheater Report: Was presented by Zinn.  The Amphitheater hired a new marketing director.
Parks & Recreation: Was presented by Corba.  The Parks & Rec. Board recommends that the Twp. Board 
adopts Resolution No. 01-22-02-03, for the swimming pool.
Fire Authority Report: Was presented by Preseau.  On Feb. 4, 2002 at 5:30, there will be a public hearing for 
a special assessment for the fire hall.
Supervisor's Report: Was presented by Supervisor McKerchie. In 2001 Vienna Twp. mapped the entire sewer
system and paved 3 miles of roads.  The Boards also approved to pave 9.5 miles of roads
in the Township.  On January 28 & 29, 2002, there will be two Focus Group meetings to 
discuss the new Master Plan.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Community Development - 2003 Projects, Public Needs Hearing.  Moved by Corba, 
seconded by Zinn to open the Public Needs Hearing at 5:55.
The following possible projects were discussed.
1.  Senior Van
2.  Neff Road rebuild
3.  Senior Center support
4.  Street scape improvement for Saginaw Rd. from Frances to Dort.
Comments from the Floor:
1. Nicholas Clark, 9205 Neff would like Neff Rd. paved.
2. Ken Shumate, 114 Vienna, asked what other money can be used for seniors other than 
Community Development money.
3. Ann Anderson, Clio Senior Center director spoke in favor of the van.
Public Hearing closed at 6:12.  
Moved by Scott, seconded by Corba to list as the first priorities as
1. Purchase a van for the Senior Center
2. Neff Road rebuild
3. Senior Center support
4. Street Scape for Saginaw Street, from Frances to Dort

Nays - None Motion carried
2. Increase funds to be used as a grant match for the proposed swimming pool to be located 
in the Clio Park system (Resolution No. 01-22-02-03).  Moved by Corba, seconded by Zinn 
to adopt Resolution No. 01-22-02-03.
ROLL CALL: Yeas - Preseau, Corba, Luttenbacher, Scott, McKerchie, Zinn, Ridley
Nays - None Motion carried
3. Dupuis & Ryden.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Preseau to hire Dupuis & Ryden as
  Township auditors for 2001, at the cost of $11,500.

Nays - None Motion carried
4. Discuss Regional Planning Money.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Zinn to reduce funding
to the Regional Planning Board to $1,000.00.
ROLL CALL: Yeas - Luttenbacher, Scott, McKerchie, Zinn, Ridley, Preseau, Corba
Nays - None Motion carried
5. Discuss adding a student to the Board.  The Board would like to look further into the 
process after more information is presented.
Comments from the Floor
1. Ann Anderson suggested that everyone look at the van.
2. John Gleason, Commissioner, was in favor of a student on the Board and the van for the
Senior Center.
Moved to adjourn at 6:50
