CITY OF CLIO, THETFORD TOWNSHIP, VIENNA TOWNSHIP

	Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
	Present:	Vienna Township - McKerchie, Scott, Corba, Preseau,Ridley
		City of Clio - Yost, Nelson, Smith, Morningstar, Swihart, Needham, Chilson
		Thetford Township - Hatchett, Hobson, Hammond, Fox, Jacobi
	The meeting was called to order to discuss the Fire Station and the Fire Authority.
	The discussion centered around the Clio Area Fire Authority Agreement.
	The current Fire Authority Agreement is in effect until November 30, 2007.  It was the consensus of the
	3 units of government that it is important that the Fire Authority remains intact as it is currently.
	There was also much discussion regarding handling internal personnel problems within the Fire
	Department and how they should be addressed.  It was the consensus of the group that a letter will be
	sent to all the firefighters. The letter will be drafted by Attorney Otis Stout and Clio City Administrator
	Kevin Kilby.
	Included in the letter will be a procedure on how to handle firefighter grievances thru the chain of
	command up to and including the Fire Authority.
	The next meeting will be held Thursday, February 14, 2002, at 8:00 a.m.
