CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF VIENNA
	PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
	DECEMBER 23, 2002
	Chairperson Curtis opened the meeting at 6:00pm, and led the Pledge of
	Allegiance.
Present:	Vernon Curtis, Gery Giltinan, Dale Frappier, Ben Ranger, Lee Garner, Bob Palmer,
	and Mary Johnson.
Absent:	Max Schweitzer, Scott Preseau.
Minutes:	Motion by Ranger, seconded by Garner to approve the minutes of December 9, 2002
	as presented. Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carries.
	Motion by Ranger, seconded by Frappier to approve the minutes of December 18,
	2002 as presented. Voice vote, all ayes. Motion carries.
Petitions:	Pre-Preliminary Site Plan review for Vienna Meadows Phase 2.
	Mr & Mrs John Mantei and John Roy, owners of the project were present, and said
	that there were 15 buildings in the first phase, and there will be 26 in the second
	phase, which will be the final phase.
	The Board asked if they will build a construction road and was told they would.
	Motion by Ranger, seconded by Giltinan to approve the pre-preliminary site plan as
	presented.
	Voting yes: Ranger, Curtis, Garner, Giltinan, Frappier
	Voting no: None, motion carries.
	Absent: Schweitzer, Preseau.
New Business:	Giltinan presented documents saying that the Planning Commission is responsible
	for drafting and approving the New Master Plan. There was some discussion at the
	last meeting about who had the responsibilty.
	Meeting was adjourned at 6:15pm.
