CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF VIENNA
	PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
	MARCH 25, 2002
	Chairperson Curtis opened the meeting at 7:30pm.
Present:	Vernon Curtis, Scott Preseau, Lee Garner, Gery Giltinan, Bob Palmer,
	and Mary Johnson.
Absent:	Dale Frappier, James Schweitzer, and Ben Ranger.
Minutes:	Motion by Garner, seconded by Preseau to approve the minutes of
	March 11, 2002 as presented. All ayes. Motion carries.
Additions
to Agenda:	Chairperson Curtis added Pond Committee to #6 on agenda.
Petitions:	Set Public Hearing date for All Fab Welding, 18-25-526-011.
	Motion by Garner, seconded by Preseau to set Public Hearing date
	of April 22, 2002, with publish dates of April 3, and April 12, 2002.
	Voting yes: Curtis, Giltinan, Preseau and Garner.
	Voting no: None.
	Motion carries.
Committee
Reports:	The Pond Committee consists of Lee Garner, Ben Ranger, Dale
	Frappier, and Bob Palmer. Chairman Curtis suggested that the
	committee start meeting in June.
Unfinished
Business:	Vilican-Leman summary of the three focus group meetings was
	presented.
	Discussion on State requirements for propane tanks. Letters from
	the DEQ, and MML were presented.
New
Business:	Chairman Curtis is requesting that the Planning Commission members
	be in attendance at the Vienna Township Board meeting April 1, 2002.
	A list of Planning Commissioners names, addresses, home phone
	numbers, work phone numbers, and e-mail addresses were presented.
	The Planning members now may be contacted by e-mail on Vienna
	Township's website.
	A training seminar is tentatively scheduled for May 13, 2002. More
	information will be forthcoming soon.
	Motion by Preseau, seconded by Giltinan to adjourn at 8:15pm.
