Previous Minutes: Moved by Corba, seconded by Zinn to omit the second sentence in item 2 under new
Business.  The motion should read, "to sign a 5 yr. Extension with Waste Mgt., including
recycling. All in favor.
Treasurer's Report: Was presented by Luttenbacher.
Building Report: Was presented by Palmer.
Bills: Bills in the amount of $13,488.13 were presented.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Preseau
to approve the bills in the amount of $13,488.13.

Sheriff's Report: Was presented by Cpt. Compeau.
Library Report: Was presented by Zinn.  Click here for April Minutes.
Amphitheater Report: Was presented by Zinn.
Park & Rec. Report: Was presented by Corba.
Metro Alliance: Was presented by Corba.  Metro All. Had an election of officers.  The positions of each 
officer stayed the same.
Senior Report: Was presented by Ridley.  The Flint Journal and Tax assistance is available at the Senior
Ctr.  Easter dinner will be served on April 16, at noon.  You will need to make reservations.
Supervisor's Report: Was presented by McKerchie.  On May 5th, after the Board meeting, Chapin Cook, from
the G.C. Planning Com. Will be discussing the grant process.  S.H.I.P.'s raised over
$2,000.00 at their Celebrity Server Dinner.
Public Comment: 1. Janice Hursh, 4075 Farrand Rd., submitted a petition with 80 signatures, ask-
ing for a 4-way stop & flashing light at the intersection of Farrand and 
Jennings Roads.
Moved by Corba, seconded by Ridley to state the Township Board supports
the request of the residents for a 4-way stop & flashing light at the intersec-
tion of Farrand and Jennings Roads. All in favor
2. Anne Marshall, 11290 Neff, had questions concerning the tree cutting on Neff
Rd.  She also asked for more Sheriff patrols on Neff to control the speeders.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Proposed rezoning Ordinance, Vienna Rd. properties, 1st reading.  Moved by Corba, 
seconded by Luttenbacher to suspend from the reading. All in favor
2. Proposed rezoning Ordinance, 5122 Vienna Rd., 1st reading.  Moved by Corba, seconded 
by Preseau to suspend from the reading. All in favor
3. Proposed  Telecommunication Ordinance, 1st reading.  Moved by Corba, seconded by
Preseau to suspend from the reading. All in favor
4. Clio Rd. @ Herenhuis street lighting, Resolution No. 04-07-03-03.  Moved by Corba, second-
ed by Luttenbacher to adopt the resolution.

5. 10310 & 10287 Ataberry street lighting, Resolution No. 04-07-03-04.  Moved by Corba, 
seconded by Ridley to adopt the resolution.

6. Authorizing the use of a computerized data base as the tax roll, Resolution No.  04-07-03-
05.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Luttenbacher to adopt the resolution.

7. Biking for Burns, Road Rally, May 10, 2003, Resolution No. 04-07-03-06.  Moved by Corba
seconded by Luttenbacher to adopt the resolution.

Nays - None Motion carried
8. Wallace Dr. & proposed Wallace Dr. extension be made a public street, maintained by the
County rather than a private drive maintained by the residents.  Moved by Corba, seconded
by Preseau that the Township Board recommend that the G.C. Road Commission make 
Wallace Dr. extension a public street maintained by the County with no curbs or gutters
and with no expense to the Township or residents.

9. 10,000-mile block of Jennings and 6,000-mile block of Farrand repair.  The board discussed
whether to repair or repave the road.  It was decided to get cost amounts on paving the road
and to discuss it further at the next board meeting.
10. Trolly Line Trail discussion.  Even though the Township supports the concept and would
like to see the trail continued in the future, it was decided against allocating money in
advance for the project.  It will be discussed further in October, when the grant is up.
11. Clio Road Sewer (S. of Dutchman's Crossing).  Moved by Corba, seconded by Preseau to
award the contract to the low bid, submitted by Rohde Brothers Excavating, with the cost
of the sewer project being $64,690.00.

12. Ordinance Officer, Robert McKenna.  McKenna asked for direction from the Board on the
Sign Ordinance and Retail Used Car Ordinance.  The Board determined that it would not
allow any temporary signs in the road-right-of-way.  A Used Car Lot committee for retail
sales was formed.  The committee consists of Richard Scott, Mark Corba, Joseph 
Thompson, Herb Nelson and Robert McKenna.  When the committee gathers information
they will bring their recommendation back the  Township Board.
