Previous Minutes: Moved by Corba, seconded by Preseau to accept the minutes of the March 3, 2003, 
as presented. All in favor
Building Report: Was presented by Palmer.
Bills: Bills in the amount of $8,866.58 were presented.  Moved by Corba, seconded by 
Luttenbacher to approve the bills in the amount of $8,866.58
ROLL CALL: Yeas - Zinn, Ridley, Corba, Preseau, Luttenbacher, Scott, McKerchie
Nays - None Motion carried.
Additions: New Township hours
Township Flag
Sports Complex money.
Library Report: Was presented by Zinn.   Verlin Morningstar was appointed to the Library Board. Click here for this month's minutes.
Amphitheater Report: Was presented by Zinn.
Fire Authority Report: Was presented by Preseau.  Hammond resigned as treasurer.  Luttenbacher was voted in 
as Treasurer.  Fox is the new Thetford representative and Benning is the alternate.
Supervisor's Report: Was presented by McKerchie.  A committee will be formed to research the Used Car Lot
Ordinance.
Public Comment: Herb Nelson, 1385 Vienna, suggested having a Fire Hall and Community Center in one
building.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. American Legion Poppy Sales, May 8, 9, 10, 2003.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Zinn
to allow the American Legion to sell poppies. All in favor
2. Garbage contract.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Zinn to sign a 5 yr. extension with 
Waste Mgt., including recycling.  By signing the extension now, the Township will save 
$90,000.00 in 2004 and have only a 1.5% increase per year from 2005 to 2009.

Nays - None Motion carried.
3. Township Hours.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Preseau to adopt the following Township
office hours on a 6 month trial basis, starting June 1, 2003.
Monday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday - 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday - 8 a.m. to 12 noon

Nays - None Motion carried
4 Township Flag.  It was the consensus of the board to donate a $50.00 savings bond to the
student who designs the flag for the Township.  The bond will be paid for by the Board
members. All in favor
5. Clio Area Sports Complex.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Zinn to give $7,000.00 that was
budgeted to the Complex.

Nays - None Motion carried
6. Discussion on hiring a DPW employee. The Board discussed hiring a DPW employee to
take care of the Business Development Area.
