CLIO AREA LIBRARY BOARD MINUTES
The meeting was called to order at
COMMUNICATIONS: M. Zinn and S.
Thomas need to sign the letter concerning the audit.
MINUTES: A motion by C. Fox, seconded by D. Turnbow to approve the minutes of
LIBRARIAN’S
REPORT: A patron pushing a wheel chair
accidentally hit the sliding door going into the library. The door came off the slide track. M. Keep called M. Zinn
and he came over and put the door back on the slide track. No damage was done to the door and no one was
hurt. C. Fox has had comments from
library uses as to the condition of the flower bed at the front door needing
weeding, and other comments have been made about the windows needing cleaning. B. Vuillemot will ask Jeannie if she would
like to clean the weeds from the flower beds and be paid extra as if cleaning
the carpets. Lots of
good comment about the book drop and how convenient it is and how nice it
looks.
BILLS: S. Thomas told us the library is only
responsible for $500.00 of the deductible due on the repair of the air
conditioners, so the bills amount to $2,656.60.
The rest of the deductible on the list is due from the township. Motion by S. Thomas,
seconded by C. Fox to approve payment of the bills in the amount of $2,656.60. All yeas.
