VIENNA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING proposed

Roll Call: Present: Supervisor McKerchie, Clerk Scott, Treasurer Luttenbacher
Trustees:  Corba, Preseau, Ridley, Zinn
Previous Minutes: Moved by Corba, seconded by Preseau to approve the June 21, 2004 minutes with the 
correction of "approval of all board members to attend the Summer Legislative Education
class in Gaylord."
Treasurer's Report: Luttenbacher presented the report for June, 2004.
Building Report: Palmer presented the report for June, 2004.
Bills: Bills in the amount of $98,049.97 were presented.  Moved by Corba, seconded by 
Luttenbacher to approve the bills.
ROLL CALL: Yeas - Zinn,  Ridley, Preseau, Corba, Luttenbacher, Scott, McKerchie
Nays - None Motion passed
Additions: 5. Risk Management
Sheriff's Report: Was presented by Sgt. Wilhelm.
Library Report: Was presented by Zinn.
Amphitheather: Zinn stated that the profits for the year are good.
Fire Authority: Preseau stated that the Fire Authority received 3 grants from the United Way.
Senior Center: Ridley stated that drivers are needed for the senior van.
Public Comment:
1. Ed Benning, Assistant General Manager of MTA spoke of his endorsement of passing
extra millage during the election.  If it passes it will help the service expand.
2. Steve Heyink, 2101 Dodge, asked the Board how much the Bobcat and the BDA building
cost?
3. Randy Taylor, 5142 Vienna, asked if it was legal to take the BDA machines out of the BDA
area?
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Streetlighting Resolution No. 07-19-04-41, Installation of lights between 11419 & 11411,
11405 & 11397, 11386 & 11378, and 11367 & 11359 Autumn Breeze, between 3266 &
3272 Centennial Oaks Ct. and at 3242, 3257 and 3295 Centennial Oaks Cts.  Moved by
Corba, seconded by Zinn to approve the resolution.

Nays - None Motion passed
2. Set a Public Hearing for August 16, 2004, to establish an Industrial Development District
for the parcels in Vienna Township, 18-25-400-004 and 18-25-400-005.  Moved by Corba,
seconded by Luttenbacher to set the Public Hearing date for August 16, 2004. All in favor
3. Discussion on cost sharing for the Wilson Road culvert replacement.  After discussion it 
was decided to look into the matter more and bring back additional information to the next
meeting.
4. Peterson Drive paving.  Moved by Zinn, seconded by Luttenbacher to allocate up to 
$10,000.00 to Rowe Engineering for the preliminary design engineering plans based on the
work required to determine what necessary improvements need to be done to make
Peterson Drive a public road.

5. Risk Management.  Vienna Township received suggestions from our Risk Control rep. with
our insurance company.  One of the suggestions was to have smoke detectors installed in
the Township building.  Moved by Corba, seconded by Zinn to advertise in the paper for
bids on smoke detectors. All in favor
