| PUBLIC HEARING, VIENNA TOWNSHIP ORDINANCE | |
| Chairperson Curtis opened the meeting at 6:00pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance. | |
| Present: | Vernon Curtis, Gery Giltinan, Ben Ranger, Kathy Ridley, Doug Chilson, John Krieger, |
| Max Schweitzer, Bob Palmer, and Mary Johnson. | |
| Absent: | None. |
| Minutes: | Motion by Ranger , seconded by Ridley to approve the minutes of 08-23- 04 |
| as presented. All ayes, motion carries. | |

| New Business: | Public Hearing for Vienna Township Ordinance. |
| Chairperson Curtis open the Public Hearing. | |
| Claude Coates, Vilican-Leman, was present to explain the changes and answer | |
| any questions. | |
| No Audience was present. | |
| Bob Palmer said this was a long process, we have worked on it a long time and he | |
| is happy with the final result. He said it is more detailed, allows for taller buildings, | |
| calls for smaller signs unless they are down low, eliminated almost all of the split | |
| zoning, and it follows the Master Plan. He recommends adoption. | |
| A definition of a bed & breakfast will be added to the definitions, and all three | |
| residential zoning districts. | |
| Motion by Ranger, seconded by Chilson to recommend adoption of the Ordinance | |
| to the Township Board adding bed & breakfast to definitions and the three | |
| residential districts. | |
| Voting yes: Ridley, Ranger, Krieger, Chilson, Schweitzer, Giltinan, Curtis. | |
| Voting no: None. | |
| Motion carries. | |
| Meeting adjourned at 6:55pm. | |
