CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF VIENNA
	PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
	JUNE 14, 2004
	Vice-Chair Ranger opened the meeting at 6:00pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present:	Gery Giltinan, Ben Ranger,  Doug Chilson, Max Schweitzer, John Krieger.
Absent:	Vernon Curtis and Kathy Ridley, who asked to be excused.
	Vernon Curtis entered the meeting at 6:05pm.
Minutes:	Motion by Schweitzer, seconded by Ranger to approve the minutes of  5-24-04
	as presented.  All ayes, motion carries.
Additions/	None.
Changes:
Comm:	Gery Giltinan announced that he was on the "Cool Cities" committee and that this
	program includes townships also. He will keep the Commission informed.
Repts of Comm:	None.
Petitions:	None.
Unfinished Bus.	1. Review of proposed ordinances. Bob Palmer spoke on the latest revision to the
	zoning ordinances. He told the Commission he had met with Claude Coates to go
	over some changes. Mr. Coates will make the revisions and get us a copy. This
	Commission will hold a Public Hearing and then it will be submitted to the Township
	Board for adoption. Bob asked that the Board review articles 18, 20 and 24, which he
	said he had the most problem with and at the next meeting the Commission will
	decide on any changes.
New Business:	None.
	The meeting was adjourned at 7:00pm.
