CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF VIENNA
	PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
	NOVEMBER 8, 2004
	Chairperson Curtis opened the meeting at 6:00pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present:	Vernon Curtis, Gery Giltinan, Ben Ranger,  Kathy Ridley, John Krieger, Max
	Schweitzer, Doug Chilson, Bob Palmer, and Mary Johnson.
Absent:	None.
Minutes:	Motion by Ranger, seconded by Krieger to approve the minutes of 10-25-2004
	as presented. All ayes, motion carries.
Additions/	None.
Changes:
Communications	None.
Petitions:	Motion by Schweitzer, seconded by Giltinan to take the Camehl petition off the table.
	All ayes, motion carries.
	1. Loyd & Elizabeth Camehl, 11440 N. Saginaw Rd. are asking for a zoning change
	from C-2 to RSA .
	Bob Palmer said the Master Plan shows all C-2 in the area, but this is a hardship
	case and the rezoning will allow them to refinance.
	Audience comments: None.
	Board comments: None.
	Motion by Ridley, seconded by Schweitzer to recommend to the Township Board the
	property at 11440 N. Saginaw Rd be rezoned from C-2 to RSA.
	Voting yes: Ranger, Ridley, Chilson, Giltinan, Schweitzer, Curtis.
	Voting no: Krieger.
	Motion carries.
	2. Church/Graf rezoning request, 14574 N. Saginaw Rd. from C-2 to RA.
	Mr. Graf wants to purchase the home but cannot get financing because of the
	zoning.
	Bob Palmer said this new zoning would fit with the Master Plan.

	Motion by Ranger, seconded by Krieger to recommend to the Township Board the
	property at 14574 N. Saginaw Rd. be rezoned from C-2 to RA.
	Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
