CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF VIENNA
	PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
	MARCH 29, 2004
	Chairperson Curtis opened the meeting at 6:00pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present:	Vernon Curtis, Gery Giltinan, Ben Ranger, Doug Chilson, Kathy Ridley, John
	Krieger,  Max Schweitzer, Bob Palmer, and Mary Johnson.
Absent:	None.
Minutes:	Motion by Schweitzer, seconded by Chilson to approve the minutes of March 8, 2004
	as presented. All ayes, motion carries.
Additions/	None.
Changes:
Petitions:	1. Shirl & Janet Nations, 2249 W. Dodge Rd.
	Mr. & Mrs. Nations were present requesting a pond permit.
Report of Pond
Committee:	The Pond Committee, Ben Ranger, Gery Giltnan, and Max Schweitzer visited the
	proposed pond site and reported that they had plenty of room and they found no
	problem with the site.
	Mr. Nations said he has 5 1/2 acres of land and that he plans a berm all the way
	around.
	Motion by Ranger, seconded by Ridley to approve the pond application with a safety
	station.  Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
New Business:	Set Public Hearing for the rezoning of five (5) parcels on N. Linden Rd.
	Secretary Giltinan read the notice of Public Hearing, and made the motion.
	Seconded by Chilson.  Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Schweitzer, seconded by Ranger to adjourn at 6:22pm. All ayes.
