Previous Minutes: Moved by Zinn, seconded by Luttenbacher to approve the minutes of the December 5,
2005 meeting as presented. All in favor
Treasurer's Report: Luttenbacher presented the November, 2005 report.
Building Report: Palmer presented the report for November.
Bills: Bills in the amount of $190,249.97 were presented.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by 
Ridley to approve the bills.

Additions: Newsletter discussion
Library Report: Zinn stated that the Library will allow the Senior Center to continue to rent out the hall, if
Vienna Township would carry the liability insurance.
MTA: Luttenbacher stated that the downtownFlint bus station is being renovated.
Fire Authority: Luttenbacher stated that the Authority purchased new training equipment, hand tools and
water rescue equipment.
Supervisor's Report: McKerchie stated that the bridge on Wilson Road by I75 will be replaced at no cost to the
Township.  He also stated that the Township received $30,000.00 for roads.
Public Comment:
1. Ben Ranger, 10385 Webster, stated that the construction of Wal-mart is being done by
out of town contractors.  He would like to keep local jobs for the local people.  Ranger
thanked Ridley and Taylor for their support at the Wal-mart rally.
2. Mark Corba, 10091 Linden, asked about the progress of the Park and Recreation Board.
Palmer stated that the by-laws were amended so non-officials can be on the board.
3. Roy Seary, Wilson Rd., stated that the traffic in the Wal-mart area is already getting con-
gested.  He would like the timing of the lights changed.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Educational request for Building Clerk.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Taylor to
allow the Building Clerk to go to the class on Excel, with the cost not to exceed $200.00.

2. Employee wages.  Moved by Scott, seconded by Luttenbacher to approve the recommended
pay raises.

3. 2005 Budget adjustments.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Scott to approve the
adjustments.

4. Supervisor's salary, Resolution No. 12-19-05-90.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by
Zinn to adopt the resolution.

8. National Incident Management System, Resolution No. 12-19-05-94.  Moved by

9. Set a Public Hearing for Montague Tax Abatement, January 17, 2006, at 5:30 p.m., at the
Vienna Township Hall.  Moved by Scott, seconded by Ridley to set the public hearing.
All in favor
10. Cable and Telephone Franchises, Fees, Rights of Way, Zoning.  Moved by Luttenbacher,
seconded by Scott to contribute $350.00 to Varnum.  Varnum will take the case to the
Federal Government asking to keep the changes in the franchise agreement.

11. Board appointments.  Moved by Zinn, seconded by Luttenbacher to approve the appoint-

Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Zinn to approve the Planning Commission meeting
dates. All in favor
13. Newsletter advertising.  The Board discussed selling advertising space in the newsletter.  It
was decided to find more information.
