VIENNA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING									Proposed
MONDAY, MAY 19, 2008

Roll Call:	Present:	Supervisor McKerchie, Clerk Scott, Treasurer Luttenbacher
		Trustees:  Fuller, Ridley, Taylor, Zinn
Previous Minutes:		May 5, 2008.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Ridley to approve the minutes as presented.
								All in favor
Bills:		Bills in the amount of $14,474.82 were presented.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Ridley to
		approve the bills.
		ROLL CALL:	Yeas - Scott, Luttenbacher, Fuller, Ridley, Taylor, Zinn, McKerchie
			Nays - None					Motion passed
Supervisor's Report:		McKerchie stated that the township is having a crew go thru the township raising manholes that have
		been covered. He also stated that we will not be receiving the 50/50 money from Genesee County due
		to the fact that the County is over budget on fuel.
Fire Authority:		Luttenbacher stated the the Clio Area Fire Authority received a grant from AAA in the amount of
		$15,800.00.  The grant will be used to purchase the "Jaws of Life".
Library Report:		Zinn reported that improvements are being made to the library building.  The library has alsopurchased
		a new sign which should be installed soon.
Building Report:		Palmer reported that building is still slow.
Correspondence:		Clerk Scott read a letter that was received from Robert Wilson.  Mr. Wilson stated that he is resigning
		as a member of the Vienna Township Appeal Board effective immediately.  He would like to put more
		time into other groups that he is involved with.  The Township Board will put an ad in the Herald asking
		for people that are interested in the position to send a letter of request to the board.
Public Comment:		Jack Edwards, 4480 Lake, announced to the Board that the Senior Center is planning an "Open
		House" on 08.08.08.  The center is planning a Car Cruise and many other events at the open
		house.
New Business:		Plante Moran, 2007 Fiscal Year Audit.  Tadd Harburn reviewed the audit with the board.
