Previous Minutes: June 7,2010. Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Ridley to approve the minutes as presented.

Bills: Bills in the amount of $6,414.16 were presented.    Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Scott to
approve the bills as presented.

Nays - None Motion passed
Treasurer's Report: Luttenbacher presented the Treasurer's report for May, 2010.
Fire Authority: Zinn reported that all the pagers will have to be replaced in 2013.  The Authority also needs to replace
the exhaust system in the building.  The Fire Chief is looking into grants to pay for the two exspences.
Library Report: Zinn stated that the budget is looking good for the library.  There will be a lot of Summer events
available at the Library this summer.
Senior Report: Director Vanella reported that the center had its parking lot painted.  The Painters Union supplied free
labor for the project.  There was an election for board members on June 21, 2010.  Following are
the results:

Public Comment: Stella Dewar, 1040 W. Hollywood, would like the board to look in to the hours and days that Auto
City Speedway is allowed to race and practice.

New Business:
1. Commercial Gas Customer Choice Contract.  Moved by Ridley, seconded by Fuller to sign the
contract.

2. Education request for the Assessor.  Moved by Zinn, seconded by Luttenbacher to pay $250.00 for the
class.

3. Medicinal Marijuana.  An individual came to the township asking about zoning for a medicinal
marijuana building.  Palmer was instructed to get information and bring it back to the board.
Board Comment:
1. Fuller would like the board to look at the budget for the assessing department.
2. Scott commended the Deputies of the Genesee County Sheriffs department for volunteering at the
parade.
3. Ridley would like the board to have a workshop to discuss the budget.
4. Taylor stated that someone from Wal-Mart told him that they would like an officer to show his
presence in the store.
Moved to adjourn at 6:25 p.m.
