Roll Call: Present: Supervisor Belill, Clerk Scott, Treasurer Luttenbacher
Trustees:  Fuller, Ridley, Taylor, Zinn
Previous Minutes: August 3, 2009,  Moved by Ridley, seconded by Luttenbacher to accept the minutes as
presented. All in favor
Bills: Bills in the amount of $51,008.29 was presented to the board.  A bill from Waldorf, in the
amount of $3,260.00, for repairs on Leann Drive, was added.  The new total of the bills
presented was $54,268.29.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Zinn to pay the bills as
presented.

Nays - None Motion passed
Fire Authority Report: Chief Domerese, reported on the fire at the White Oil Company on August 4, 2009.  There
was approximately 100,000 gallons of petroleum product on site that burned for about 24
hours.  Eighteen fire departments and different agencies from 7 counties were on the scene.
The property will need to be cleaned up before the company can rebuild.  The clean-up
should take approximately 3 - 4 weeks.  There was no hazardous chemicals detected
in the area.
Library Report: Zinn stated that circulation is still up at the library.  Attendance for the programs is also
up.  The City of Clio, Thetford Township and Vienna Township will be signing a lease
agreement on the building soon.
Supervisor's Report: Belill thanked the Senior Center for remaining open during the evacuation on August 4th.
Sheriff's Report: Pyles gave the 6 month comparison report.

Correspondence
1. Palmer stated that there will be a "Ribbon Cutting Ceremony" for the Trolley Line Trail.  The
Ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009, 1:30 p.m. at the Field Road
entrance.
Public Comment:
1. Ann Anderson, Senior Center Director, spoke of her appreciation for everyone who helped
out at the Senior Center during the evacuation.
2. Herb Nelson, Senior Center Board of Directors President, stated that the board is looking
into grants that can be used to get back-up generators that can be used during
emergencies.
Unfinished Business: Gabage contracts.  Belill stated that the township has received a proposal from one
company.  Information from another company is expected.  The information will be
brought before the board at the next meeting.
New Business:
1. Assessor's educational class, Reappraisal projects.  Moved by Zinn, seconded by Ridley
to pay the expenses for the assessor to go to the class.

2. Personnel Manual.  The manual was reviewed and will be brought back for action at the
next meeting
3. Senior Center van.  Moved by Zinn, seconded by Luttenbacher to purchase the Diamond
Coach Ford van from Holland Bus Company (Bus A) at the cost of $43,179.00.  The van
will be purchased with Community Development money.

4. Senior Center copier policy.  Moved by Ridley, seconded by Scott that since the Clio Area
Senior Center copy machine is under contract with the Charter Township of Vienna, copies
that produce an overage will not be permitted without written consent of the Vienna
Township Board of Trustees.  In the event that any person ( s ) or group willing to pay for
any overages must summit a written request to the Vienna Township Board of Trustees
for approval, prior to an overage.  All overages will be paid to the Charter Township of
Vienna.  Overages will be paid to Vienna Township within 5 days of Vienna Township
receiving their bill.

5. August 4, 2009 Election cost.  Moved by Zinn, seconded by Taylor to send a bill to the
Genesee County Board of Directors for the cost of the August 4, 2009 election
