Roll Call: Present: Supervisor McKerchie, Clerk Scott
Trustees:  Fuller, Ridley, Taylor, Zinn
Absent: Treasurer Luttenbacher
Previous Minutes: Moved by Scott, seconded by Ridley to adopt the August 6, 2007 minutes as presented.
All in favor
Treasurers Report: The Board was presented with the Treasurer's report for July, 2007.
Building Report: Palmer presented the report for July, 2007.
Bills: Bills in the amount of $18,177.51 were presented.  Moved by Scott, seconded by Zinn to approve the
bills.

Library Report: Zinn stated that the Senior Center is now out of the building.  The vacant space will be used for 
special events.  The Library applied for an "Energy Conservation" grant.  The grant would be used to buy
blinds to help conserve energy.
Fire Authority Report: Supervisor McKerchie stated that the audit has been completed from Lewis & Knoph.  It revealed no
problems.  The 100' aerial truck is out of service.  It will go back to Wisconsin for repairs.  The insur-
ance will cover the cost.  Fire runs were up in July, with Vienna having 31 runs, Thetford had 9,
City of Clio had 4, and there were 7 Mutual Aids.
MTA: Township Representative Corba stated that the 2010 Transportation Improvement program is in the 
works.  The Expansion for Linden Road has been approved.  It will start at the Wal-Mart entrance and
go south approximately 800 feet.
Supervisor's Report: McKerchie reported that the Township is still in the process of applying for the grant from the Ruth
Mott Foundation.  He also stated that there is $39,000.00 in the sewer fund.
Public Comment: Kevin Lonsway, 5200 Vienna Rd. asked why there are flags in the ground in front of his house.  He was
informed that the flags were to mark the utilities for the strip center across the street.

Additions: Dave Drive Sewer replacement.
New Business:
1. Forfeiture Ordinance, 1st reading.  Moved by Scott, seconded by Fuller to suspend from the reading.

2. Michigan Vehicle Code Ordinance, 1st reading.  Moved by Scott, seconded by Taylor to suspend 
from the reading. All in favor
3. Motor Carrier Ordinance, 1st reading.  Moved by Scott, seconded by Taylor to suspend from the
reading. All in favor
4. City of Clio paving, Field Rd., Clio to Center.  Moved by Taylor, seconded by Fuller to send the City of
Clio a letter informing them that the Township has used all the road money but will revisit the idea
next year. All in favor
5. Dave Drive Sanitary Sewer replacement.  Moved by Taylor, seconded by Scott to pay Rowe to do the
construction estimate and design proposal for the sewer replacement.  The full design services will
cost $15,700.  If the MDEQ will allow the project to be designed and constructed as a "log" job, the
fee would be reduced to $12,900.
