3. Jeremy Clontz, 4121 McComb, thinks that the manholes don't seal well and that they are part of the
problem.
Unfinished Business:
Senior Center trip policy.  Moved by Ridley, seconded by Taylor to allow up to two ( 2 ), one-day trips
per month, not to exceed twelve ( 12 ), one-day trips, per year.
ROLL CALL: Yeas - Belill, Fuller, Luttenbacher, Fuller, Ridley, Taylor
Nays - None Motion passed
Multiple day trip policy.  Ridley has concerns that the Senior Center is using its manpower to do
the travel agencies job concerning the trips.  She would like the seniors to sign up with the agency,
not at the center.  The concern is that too much time is spent on the extended trips, which might
take away from the day to day duties.  She also has concerns about township liability.
Moved by Ridley, seconded by Scott that effective January 1, 2010, no money, passports, or travel
documents concerning extended trips will be kept at the Senior Center.
The Senior Center Board of Directors would like more time to handle the extended trip policy.  They
feel that the Director should have a specific job description so the Director knows what is expected
of her.  The assistant should also be more informed so she can also perform her job effectively
Ridley rescinded her motion and Scott rescinded his support.
It was decided that the Senior Center Board of Directors will present a proposed policy at the Board
meeting that will be held on October 5, 2009.
New Business:
1. Fee schedule amendment, Sewer and Water rates, (Resolution No. 08-03-09-16).  Moved by
Luttenbacher, seconded by Scott to amend the resolution.  Under Sewer fees, the minimum monthly
readiness to serve charge was changed from $20.45 to $18.45 for the first unit.  Where the premises
are not served by water which is metered, the monthly charge per unit was changed from $30.00
to $28.00 per unit.
Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Scott to adopt resolution No. 03-03-09-16.
ROLL CALL: Yeas - Luttenbacher, Ridley, Belill, Scott
Nays - Fuller, Taylor Motion passed
2. Garbage contract.  The garbage contract is up for renewal January 1, 2010..  Waste Management and
Richfield Equities, L.L.C. both turned in proposals.  The bids packets will be looked into and will be
placed on the agenda for the next meeting.
Moved to adjourn at 6:48.
