Absent: Scott
Previous Minutes: August 16, 2010.  Moved by Zinn, seconded by Ridley to approve the minutes as
presented. All in favor
Bills: Bills in the amount of $3,499.98 were presented.    Moved by Zinn, seconded by
Ridley to approve the bills as presented.

Nays - None Motion passed
Building Report: Palmer gave the report for August, 2010.
Treasurer's Report: Luttenbacher gave the report for July, 31, 2010.
Fire Authority Report: Zinn stated that the Clio Area Fire Authority received a grant in the amount of $30,000.00.
The money was used to purchase pagers that are required by the State.  The Fire Chief is
looking at the necessity of having a siren installed on the west side of the township.  The
sirens could possibly be purchased with a grant.  They are also trying to fix the problems with
the phone number that is used for fire permits.
Library Report: Zinn reported that August was one of the busiest months at the Library.  Over 100 additional
children had signed up for the summer reading program.  There will be a Book Sale at the
Library on October 2, 2010, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.  There will also be an Antique Appraisal on
October 6, 2010, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Senior Report: The Senior Centers new web-site should be up and running by September 22, 2010.  The site
was set up free of charge.

4. G. C. Road Commission agreement
Correspondence: There will be a "Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Waste Collection Day" on
Saturday, October 2, 2010, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.  For more information you can call the
G.C. Recycle Hotline: (810) 762-7744.
Public Comment: Jerry Seay, 12179 Linden Rd., complained that his neighbor is running an unlicensed
business on his property and has junk on his property.  He would like the township to do
something about the problem.
Unfinished Business: None
New Business:
1. Clio Area Sports Complex Grant, Resolution NO. 09-20-10-13.  Moved by Taylor, seconded
by Ridley to approve the resolution.
ROLL CALL: Yeas - Fuller, Ridley, Taylor, Zinn, Belill, Luttenbacher
Nays - None Motion passed
2. Clio Area Park & Recreation Annual Contribution.  The Park and Recreation Board is an
asset to the Clio area.  Vienna Township will contribute their annual fee, if the other
municipalities do.
3. Wireless Capital Partners, Lease Extension Proposal.  After discussion, it was decided to
have the Supervisor gather more information and negotiate a higher offer.
4. G.C. Road Commission agreement.  Moved by Zinn, seconded by Fuller to sign the
agreement with the Road Commission.  The agreement cost is $88,227.16.  Vienna will pay
$18,227.16 now and will pay the remaining $70,000.00 in the year 2014.

Nays - Taylor Motion passed
Board Comments: Fuller spoke concerning the Linden Road address.  He stated that the resident is operating an
illegal repair shop on the property.  He would like the business shut down for operating
without a license.
