VIENNA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING proposed

Roll Call: Present: Supervisor McKerchie, Treasurer Luttenbacher
Trustees:  Ridley, Taylor
Previous Minutes: November 5, 2007.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Ridley to approve the minutes
with the following correction in the correspondence.  The letter that was received from
G. C. Sheriff stated that Genesee County would pay the administrative costs associated
with the contract for police services for the 1st year and that Vienna Township will be
required to pay the administrative costs the following years.
Bills: Bills in the amount of $10,971.49 were presented to the board.  Moved by Luttenbacher
seconded by Ridley to approve the bills as presented.
ROLL CALL: Yeas - Luttenbacher, Ridley, Taylor, McKerchie
Nays - None Motion passed
Changes: * Remove Snow plowing for the Clio Area Library
* Add Senior Center toilets
Supervisor's Report: McKerchie stated that Vienna received the 1st Community Development check in the
amount of $18,500.00.
New Business:
1. Public hearing on the "Business District Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing
Plan Update".  Moved by Taylor, seconded Ridley to open the public hearing at 5:32 p.m.
Adam Young, Wade Trim, explained the benefits and possible projects that could 
be possible with the BDA expansion.
Public Comment:
1. Jack Edwards, 4480 W. Lake, asked when the addition money
that would be collected from the BDA expansion would be 
available.  McKerchie stated that the money that would be 
collected from the expansion would be available January 1, 2007.
2. A township resident asked how businesses would benefit if the 
BDA expands.  McKerchie stated that money collected from the
expansion could be used for roads, sewer, water, sidewalks, etc.
and with more improvements being brought to the area, businesses
would be enticed to come to that area.
Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Ridley to close the public hearing at 5:47 p.m.
2. Senior Center toilets.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by Ridley to install handicap
toilets in the Senior Center at the cost of $650.00.

3. Adoption of the poverty guidelines.  Moved by Taylor, seconded by Ridley to approve the
poverty guidelines.

Nays - None Motion passed
4. Business Development Authority 2008 budget.  Moved by Luttenbacher, seconded by 
Ridley to approve the budget.
ROLL CALL: Yeas - McKerchie, Luttenbacher, Ridley, Taylor
Nays - None Motion passed
