CLIO AREA FIRE AUTHORITY

	DECEMBER 11, 2007
	The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Phillips, who led the Pledge of
	Allegiance.
Members Present:	Dave Phillips, Paul Luttenbacher, Cindy Hicks, Bob Smith, Cassie Schiebel, Dennis
	Fuller, and Shelly Ayotte.
Members Absent:	None.
Also Present:	Chief Domerese, Asst. Chief Paulson, and Batt. Chief Bloss.
Visitors/Comm:	None.
Communications:	None.
Minutes:	Motion by Fuller, seconded by Smith to approve the minutes of 11-13-07.
	All ayes, with C. Hicks abstaining, motion carries.
Bills:	Motion by Luttenbacher, seconded by Hicks to pay the bills in the amount of $24,983.39.
	Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
Treasurer's Rept:	The report was given by Paul Luttenbacher. Motion by Smith, seconded by Schiebel to
	approve the report as presented. All ayes, motion carries.
Chief's Report:	The Chief's Report was given by Chief Domerese.
	1. Purchasing Policy.
	2. Purchase request.
	3. Resignation.
	4. Clio Schools Vehicle Maintenance.
	5. The PUP program has received approximately $1000.

Old Business:	None.
New Business:	1. Purchasing Policy: Motion by Hicks, seconded by Schiebel to approve the policy.
	All ayes, motion carries.
	2. Purchase Request: Motion by Hicks, seconded by Smith to allow Chief to seek
	competive bids for two new tires and rims and to purchase. Roll call vote. All ayes.
	3. Motion by Hicks, seconded by Schiebel to approve the purchase of $ 417.00 from
	Acct # 979. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
	4. Motion by Smith, seconded by Luttenbacher to approve the purchase of $ 592.68 from
	Acct # 977. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
	5. Motion by Smith, seconded by Fuller to accept the resignation of Eric Rau. All ayes,
	motion carries.
Other Business:	Monthly run report.
Board Comments:	P. Luttenbacher and Bob Smith spoke on the meeting concerning the proposed joining
	of fire departments, and they suggest waiting to see how the plan developes.
	C. Hicks is not in favor of the consolidation of fire departments.
	D. Phillips congradulated Kevin Bloss as Firefighter of the Year, and Mike Chilson as the
	Department Safety Officer. Leanne Pennigton does a great job with prevention.
	The next regular meeting will by January 8, 2008, 4:30pm at St # 2.
	The meeting was adjourned at 5:20pm.
