CLIO AREA FIRE AUTHORITY
	MEETING
	JULY 10, 2007
	The meeting was called to order at 4:30pm by Chairperson Phillips , who led the
	Pledge of Allegiance.
Members Present:	Dave Phillips, Cindy Hicks, Bob Smith, Cassie Schiebel, Dennis Fuller, Paul
	Luttenbacher, and Shelly Ayotte.
Members Absent:	None.
Also Present:	Chief Domerese, Batt Chief Bloss.
Visitors/Comment:	None.
Minutes:	Motion by Smith, seconded by Hicks to approve the minutes of 6-12-07 as
	presented. All ayes, motion carries.
Bills:	Motion by Hicks, seconded by Smith to approve the bills in the amount of
	$ 43,419.32.  Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
Treasurer's Rept:	Due to computer problems there is no Treasurer's report this month.
	Motion by Hicks, seconded by Luttenbacher to table the Treasurer's report til next
	month. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
Chief's Report:	1. Purchase Requests.
	2. Two resignations
	3. Hire two firefighters
	4. Aerial repair. The Insurance Company said today that they will pay the entire cost
	to flatbed the aerial to Wisconsin, but if a firefighter drives it there, they will only cover
	wages, not gas, lodging, or any other costs.
Old Business:	None.
New Business:	1. Purchase requests.
	Motion by Hicks, seconded by Ayotte to approve purchase from Acct# 835 for $ 687.
	Luttenbacher asked if the account should be # 979. Motion amended to read from
	Acct # 979. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Luttenbacher, seconded by Schiebel to approve purchase from Acct# 977
	for $ 59.96. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Smith, seconded by Fuller to approve purchase from # 979 for $ 54.72.
	Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Smith, seconded by Ayotte to accept resignation of Kristie McMillan.
	All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Hicks, seconded by Luttenbacher to accept the resignation of Tony Ziobro.
	All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Hicks, second by Luttenbacher to hire John Threet. All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Hicks, second by Schiebel to hire Terry James. All ayes, motion carries.
Other Business:	Monthly run totals.
Board Comments:	Paul Luttenbacher said the audit should be here next week.B38
	Dave Phillips said we should let the Insurance Company pay for the transport of the
	aerial to Wisconsin for repairs.
	Cindy Hicks said the annual Pig Roast is August 4th and volunteers are needed.
	She also said St 2 lost 2 firefighters tonight and asked Chief if that leaves them short.
	Chief Domerese said they are not at full staff but they are at adaquate staffing levels.
	The next regular meeting will be August 14, 2007 at Station # 1.
	The meeting was adjourned at 5:15 pm.
