CLIO AREA FIRE AUTHORITY
	MEETING
	SEPTEMBER 11, 2007
	The meeting was called to order at 4:30pm by Chairperson Phillips , who led the
	Pledge of Allegiance.
Members Present:	Dave Phillips, Bob Smith, Cassie Schiebel, Dennis Fuller, Paul Luttenbacher, and
	Shelly Ayotte.
Members Absent:	Cindy Hicks.
Also Present:	Chief Domerese, and Asst. Chief Paulson.
Visitors/Comment:	None.
Minutes:	Motion by Ayotte, seconded by Fuller to approve the minutes of 8-14-07 as
	presented. All ayes, motion carries.
Bills:	Motion by Luttenbacher, seconded by Ayotte to approve the bills in the amount of
	$ 9,456.19.  Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
Treasurer's Rept:	The Treasurer's report was given by Paul Luttenbacher.
	Motion by Ayotte, seconded by Schiebel to accept the report as presented.
	All ayes, motion carries.
Chief's Report:	1. Purchase Requests.
	2. Three resignations and remove one.
	3. Hire two firefighters
	4. See attached report.
Old Business:	None.
New Business:	1. Audit Acceptance. Motion by Luttenbacher, seconded by Smith to accept the audit
	as presented. All ayes, motion carries.
	2. Adam Tolles. Motion by Ayotte, seconded by Luttenbacher to accept his resignation
	and place him in the support group. All ayes, motion carries.
	3. William Villaire. Motion by Luttenbacher, second by Smith to accept his resignation.
	All ayes, motion carries.
	4. Nate Ward. Motion by Smith, second by Luttenbacher to remove him from the roster.
	All ayes, motion carries.
	5. Rick Witham. Motion by Smith, seconded by Ayotte to accept his resignation. All
	ayes, motion carries.
	6. Austin Finkbeiner. Motion by Ayotte, second by Luttenbacher to hire Austin
	Finkbeiner. All ayes, motion carries.
	7. Jeff Bloss. Motion by Ayotte, seconded by Schiebel to hire Jeff Bloss. All ayes,
	motion carries.
	8. Vaughn Pinney. Motion by Ayotte, seconded by Schiebel to hire Vaughn Pinney.
	All ayes, motion carries.
	9. Purchase requests:
	Motion by Ayotte, seconded by Schiebel to approve purchase from Acct# 977 for
	$84.50. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Luttenbacher, seconded by Smith to approve purchase from Acct# 978
	for $528.00. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
	Motion by Ayotte, seconded by Luttenbacher to approve purchase from Acct# 930
	for $ 54.10. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries.
Other Business:	Monthly run totals.
Board Comments:	Shelly Ayotte thanked Chief Paulson for being in the dunk tank at the Pig Roast.
	Dennis Fuller asked if Clio had been called for Mutual Aid to Montrose.
	The next regular meeting will be October 9, 2007 at Station # 1.
	The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 pm.
