CLIO AREA PARKS & RECREATION BOARD MINUTES

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.
Roll Call	Present:	Hatter, Smith, Nordstrom, Bare, Taylor, Bryan
	Absent:	Scott, Latture, Gaffney, Coe
Minutes:		None
Treasurers Report:		None
Bills:		None
Visitor's:		None
Communications:		None.
Old Business:
	1.	Frisbee Golf.  Regional Planning had a non-productive meeting with the G.C.
		Parks.  The county is asking for monetary support for the existing park.  The
		County will look at a 9-hole course at Buell Lake.  Messiah Lutheran Church
		could be a second location for the park.  Design plans will be needed for the
		project.
	2.	Gun Range.  No further action
	3.	Alley Park.  No further action.
	4.	Dog Park.  No further action.
New Business:
	1.	Sports Complex.  Vienna Township reduced its contribution to the complex
		to $3,500.00.  The complex is asking for funding from the Park and Recrea-
		tion board.  The board would like the President of the Sports Complex to
		attend the next meeting.
	2.	Core Park.  The City of Clio would like funding for the park.
	3.	Slide Park.  Thetford discussed building a slide hill behind the Thetford
		Township cemetery.
		Randy Taylor stepped down as President of the Park and Recreation Board.
