| Petitions: | 1. Public Hearing, Kathryn McAllister, 14191 N. Clio Rd. Special Land Use for a | |||
| Bed & Breakfast. | ||||
| Jeff Ferweda, Architect for Sedgewick & Ferweda, was present and explained the | ||||
| project. He said the McAllisters have an existing 2 story, 4 bedroom home on 3 acres | ||||
| and want to add an addition. The addition will house a new master bedroom and | ||||
| they will use the existing 4 bedrooms for guests. He said four parking spaces are | ||||
| provided for along with additional landscaping. | ||||
| Audience comments: | ||||
| 1. Gail Huber, 14147 N. Clio Rd. asked if this is approved are there other things that | ||||
| could be done. Mrs. Huber also said that they didn't want people wandering into their | ||||
| yard. They have been there for 40 years and don't want things to change. She also | ||||
| asked the maximum number of people they could have at one time. | ||||
| Board Comments: | ||||
| 1. Bob Palmer said the State guidelines for adult foster care is six bedrooms and | ||||
| this will fall into the same category. | ||||
| 2. Max Schweitzer asked Mrs. McAllister to give a description of her qualifications. | ||||
| 3. Ben Ranger asked if there will be a commercial kitchen and was told no. | ||||
| He also asked if anyone could walk in and eat and was told no. Ranger said this | ||||
| use will have very little impact on the neighbors. | ||||
| 4. Gery Giltinan asked if she would be doing catering and was told no. | ||||
| Motion by Schweitzer, seconded by Ranger, to approve the Special Land Use for | ||||
| the Bed & Breakfast. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries. | ||||
| 2. Set Public Hearing for Gordon Schultz Rezoning application. | ||||
| Motion by Giltinan, seconded by Zinn to set a Public Hearing for Gordon Schultz at | ||||
| 6468 W. Vienna Rd for a rezoning from RSA to C-2. All ayes, motion carries. | ||||
