CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF VIENNA
	PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
	AUGUST 10, 2009
	Chairperson Curtis opened the meeting at 6:00pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present:	Vernon Curtis, Gery Giltinan,  Doug Chilson, Mike Zinn, Ben Ranger, Pat Bowdish,
	and Mary Johnson.
Absent:	Max Schweitzer.
Minutes:	Motion by Giltinan, seconded by Chilson to approve the minutes of July 27, 2009
	as presented. All ayes, motion carries.
Additions/Chgs.	None.
Communications:	The Commission received a rendering of a kiosk planned for the Vienna Town Square.
	The photo shows red paint. The Commission approved the kiosk but the color will
	have to be earth tones which is spelled out in the PUD.
Rept. of Committee:	None.
Petitions:	None.
Unfinished Bus.	1. Chairperson Curtis presented a CD from Birch Run to get an idea of what we would
	like to do to promote our area.
	Chairperson Curtis will approach Mott College to see if they have a class that would be
	able to produce the CD. He will also present the idea to the BDA for funding
New Business:	None.
