| Chairperson Curtis opened the meeting at 6:00pm and led the Pledge of Allegiance. | |
| Present: | Vernon Curtis, Pat Bowdish, Gery Giltinan, Doug Chilson, Ben Ranger, Mike Zinn, Bob |
| Palmer and Mary Johnson. | |
| Absent: | Max Schweitzer. |
| Minutes: | Motion by Giltinan, seconded by Chilson to approve the minutes of July 9, 2007 |
| All ayes, motion carries. | |
| Additions/Chgs: | Bob Palmer said the Vienna Town Square project on Vienna Rd that was approved |
| last meeting is now divided into three building instead of the approved two. He said he | |
| was okay with the change if the Board was. All members were in agreement. | |
| Communications | None. |
| Repts of Comm: | None. |
| Petitions: | 1. Elf Khurareh Temple Assc. 4240 W. Wilson Rd. Special Land Use. |
| Phil Brock, Trustee for Elf Khurareh Temple, was present and said they want to have | |
| a corn maze on their property for a few months as a fund raiser. He said they hired a | |
| company from Idaho to cut the maze. They have plenty of parking, and will have a | |
| concession stand. | |
| Audience comments: None. | |
| Board comments: | |
| 1. Bob Palmer said if approved tonight they won't have to come back in the future. | |
| 2. Ben Ranger asked if they plan to do this every year and was told yes. | |
| 3. Mike Zinn asked where the closest maze is to them and was told in Corunna. | |
| 4. Gery Giltinan asked if they will have music and was told maybe a radio. | |
| 5. Doug Chilson asked about the cost. $8 adults, and $6 kids. | |
| Motion by Ranger, seconded by Zinn to approve the Special Land Use request for a | |
| corn maze at 4240 W. Wilson Rd. | |
| Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carries. | |
